Frozen2. I found a copy of her "Ray of Light" album for really cheap (I think around three dollars) and thought "What the heck. There were a few songs of hers I knew and liked, such as "Ray of Light" and "Music," but I had never really taken much interest in her music. Drowned World/Substitute for Love6. Also, after discovering more Madonna music, there are a lot of really good songs left off here. Secret5.
But for some reason I just kept going back to it. My first impression of it was that it was kind of bizarre. There was just something about the strange electronic beats and beautifully crafted lyrics that kept me wanting more. I soon fell in love with it.So, to see if I liked some of her other music, I bought GHV2. Up until recently, I had never been a Madonna fan. First off, the track-listing is very random. The perfect example is tracks 7-11, albums-wise, you go from Ray of Light (1998) to the Austin Powers Soundtrack (1999), back to Ray of Light, then way back to Bedtime Stories (1995), then back again to Ray of Light.
(Especially from Erotica) I would have love to see songs on here such as "Rain" and "Bad Girl," plus "You Must Love Me" is so much better than her version of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina."So, in short, if you are already a Madonna fan who has all the albums, feel free to skip this. But if you are a new fan that doesn't know many of her songs, this is a good place to start.Highlights:1. As soon as I heard the infectious disco beat of "Deeper and Deeper" I knew I was in for a treat. I know I like the title track at least." Once I got home I popped it into my CD player and wasn't to sure what to think of it. Don't Tell Me3.
As I figured I would, I loved it. The tracks that followed were the sexy "Erotica" and the wonderful "Human Nature." There were some songs, such as "Secret," "Don't Tell Me," and "Beautiful Stranger" that I was surprised to find out I already knew, I just didn't recognize their titles at first. But, unfortunately, this compilation is far from perfect. Music4. Deeper & Deeper
Not an avid Madonna fan, but do enjoy some of her songs. And the ones I like are here.

The booklet is a strange one filled with many small photos and linernotes written by Dan Cadan. Madonna: GHV2 (Greatest Hits Volume 2) is Madonna's second greatest hits collection and spans the years 1991-2000. It contains such great tracks like Frozen, Take a bow and Human Nature. 5/5.
Madonna looks so striking on the album, she is so photogenic. Madonna GHV2 is a fantastic collection of her hits spanning from 1992-2000. Songs like Beautiful Stranger, Deeper and Deeper, The Power of Good-bye, Music, and What It Feels Like For A Girl are the standouts. I also recommend The Immaculate Collection as well.
